Hello!
Spring is coming...! How good it that?!
Quick update on Beyond The Horizon, which has now hit 17 awards and counting and below is the trailer cut by the formidable Simon Cross. Turning my head now towards finding a taker so watch this space!
Elsewhere, after a slow January things have brightened up with a host of work ranging from Strongman, tennis to documentaries landing on my desk.
First up was Britain’s Strongest Man in Sheffield for Giants Live where I directed the Channel 5 crew, include the host with the most – Eddie Hall.

Eddie, in true ‘Beast’ fashion, brought not one but two of his tanks to the arena. That was an opportunity not to be missed so we utilised those for the opener.

We’ve already completed the edit for this one, ready for sound, and it’s a terrific start to the WSM series (I say this every year but the shows do just get better and better). I've worked out I've now worked on over 100 hours of WSM shows since 2015 that are shown on prime-time Christmas schedules for Channel 5. Looking forward to the next 100!
After the Britain's edit, I’ve had three back to back tennis events – firstly Carlos Alcaraz winning in Doha, Medvedev winning in Dubai and as I write I’m working on arguably my favourite tournament of the year – the first Masters event of 2026 – Indian Wells, all for ATP Media working on thier world feed that has a global reach of over 200 territories and over 100 broadcasters, with over 880 million viewers.

Carlos seems to be hitting new heights and currently is 15 wins and zero defeats for the 2026 season – and he’s looking unstoppable.
I’ve the Miami Masters next week for Sky Tennis, before turning my focus to Episode 2 of the WSM series - Europe’s Strongest Man, then two more ATP Media events and before I know it, I’ll be heading to Dallas for FIFA/HBS and a 52 day stint at the World Cup.
So thankfully, a jam packed schedule ahead!
